Kotor Fortress

The fortification around the Kotor Old City was constructed during the Venetian period.  It is comprised of a massive city wall that runs around much of the old city.

The tower shown in this photograph is called the Kampana Tower and Citadel.  It was built in the 13th and 14th centuries.
